Graeme Evans


Graeme founded Tricon in 2001 following the sale of drilling supply group Kaltex in 1998. Previously a Regional Manager with Dresser Australia and he joined IDQ Inc and established North America Operations in Houston. He has more than thirty five years’ experience with drilling equipment manufacturers and users worldwide. Graeme liaises with overseas vendors and works with the CEO and Directors to develop strategic planning.

Director - Nick Juon

Joining the Board in 2001 Nick was for many years a management consultant to Kaltex and International Drillquip. He has extensive product and supply chain management exposure with Drilling and Mining Suppliers and Customers worldwide. Nick was formerly employed in senior management roles at Dresser Australia and DIT in Perth. The Juan nickel shoot at Kambalda was named after Nick when he intersected the sulphide ore body in the late sixties.

With almost five decades in the Drilling Industry John has served in a variety of capacities including sales management of Dresser Products Australia, Product Management of Gardner Denver , Director of Kenroc Australia and Chairman of the Compressed Air Institute of Australia. His recent roles included Area management of Eastern Australia and PNG for Kaltex Supply and Tricon. Always at the forefront of initiatives to assist customer cost-downs, John has also been a director since 2001.

CEO - Scott Gillam

Appointed in 2011 Scott leads the planning, development, and operations for Tricons business in Australia and offshore. He has leveraged his prior management experiences to build a strong Management Team focussed on customer solutions. Scott joined Tricon from the Ausdrill Group where he was General Manager of Supply Directs Branches in Perth, South Africa, Ghana and the UK. Previously Scott served in a variety of senior management roles with BIS Industrial Logistics (formerly Brambles) and the Readymix Group.
