DTH Hammer
Description
TRICON supplies a range of conventional hammers, in sizes 5, 6 and 8 inches, industry standard threads including API Reg and Beco.
Tricon DTH products provide both performance and value to the end user. Our DTH hammers and drill bits are developed through a coordinated interaction between our technical staff and end users.
We can and do make site-specific evaluations and apply appropriate design modifications to suit specific drilling applications.
The Tricon Tubeless hammer range are heavy duty DTH tools designed for drilling in mine, quarry, waterwell, exploration and construction applications. NOTE: NO foot valve or exhaust tube is required in the hammer bit.
Designed for cost effectiveness the increased piston size delivers more blow energy providing increased production rates.
Features simplicity of design, ease of service and low air consumption. A hardened Drive Sub provides added protection and life to the cylinder.

Lubrication Consumption
- To avoid costly component failure your down hole hammer MUST receive continuous lubrication
- For normal conditions – allow one litre per hour per 500 CFM (14M3/Min)
- For water injection – allow two litres per hour per 500 CFM (14m3/Min)
